State Polo and A Wedding and Work

It seems like so much has happened

Girls State:

WE WON!

This was our second win in a row!

I got rolled during the first game,

but I scored every game.

Our final game was against Park City

We won 6-5 :D

It was a game well played and hard fought to win.

On Sunday, I couldn't even get out of bed.

Like

Jackie and my mom

literally

had to pull me out of bed.

I'd start crying from pain

Monday was pretty bad too

This weekend my brother John had his ring ceremony.

I was sooo lovely.

I really like his wife, Mary, and I am glad I was there!

Her family seems pretty fun

On Saturday morning I went to a big Scera training thing

for work

It was way fun!

I love my job, and I am so excited to teach swim lessons

...

I just need my boss to tell me

when she is going to let me make up my missed lesson!

I've been trying to arrange it for a while,

but she is either never there when I go,

or she hasn't decided and so

she says she'll get back to me on it.

It's rather frustrating... but I just want it done.

No more water polo till next year :(

I'm going to miss my team so much.

Sarah Woodruff is a senior...

and her leaving

is going to make me

bawl my eyes out.

Plus it stinks 'cause I don't know if I can make it to the banquet!

If it is on Friday this weekend then there is no way I can.

I have work starting at 2:30 and going till sometime late.

Tomorrow

right after school

I have to head down to Poco Loco

to buy a new guarding suit and sandals.

Last year my suit was WAY smaller than was comfy.

Not this year :)

Well, I am exhausted.

I just finished my French homework

Then on to my English and Math homework

I can't wait for state this weekend!

I plan on making several goals :)

For French class we were assigned a project

We had to create "dating advertisement videos" about ourselves...

HA I sure made that awkward.

After making that video,

I feel inspired to start my YouTube career.

That is what I want to do for a living...

But I have discovered that I am afraid...

of the FUTURE.

Up till the end of highschool,

I have had planned for years.

Now that I'm in highschool and the end is in sight....

I'M SCREWED!

I've no idea what I want to do or where.

Colored Thursday

Day. What. Crazy. A.

School... Exhausting.

Melanie... Hilarious.

Seth... shy of girls and being alone with a group of them.

Today my school had this big thing where hair stylists came

and they cut off people's hair for 

Locks of Love.

My buddy Sarah Glad

was one of the girls to do it.

Her hair used to be to about her waist

(kinda where I wish mine was)

and she donated it

TWO whole times!

plus apparently she was gonna get bangs.

I can't wait to see!

After school

I drove my sister

EVERYWHERE.

It was rather exhausting.

But later,

I was watching Easy A (LOVE IT!)

and Natalie calls me up.

She asked if I'd like to join her

and Sarah and Jon,

and go color on one of my coache's car windows!

(Bractn(weird spelling.))

I didn't hesitate.

HECK YES!

So I took along my sister,

and we went to the golf course,

where he was doing an 18 holer

(instead of going to practice).

We DESTROYED

his car windows with awesome marker.

He was sooo mad when he saw :)

We didn't even leave him water to was it off.

I'm off to bed early :)
(I just closed the vent in my room 
(cause the AC started and I am in the basement), 
and now it is whistling.

Once upon a time....

I haven't written in a while.

Great story, huh?

Well I have been kinda too busy to write this week.

I don't even remember what I did the whole beginning of it..

but it was busy.

On Thursday afternoon

I left for CEDAR CITY

with my polo team

to go to the

Utah

Summer Games!

It went...

not as I'd hoped.

We took third

in the consolation bracket.

:(

Last year we did much better.

On Thursday we played a game at 9 pm against...

I don't even remember who.

But I think we lost.

 

To make me even more mad,

during the game

(cause I'm one of the faster swimmers)

I was trying to chase down this girl

who got a break away

when the ball turned over to them.

I'm swimming and sprinting after her,

I don't do anything illegal that I remember, 

and she ELBOWS ME IN THE FACE.

I bit my tongue

and it has been swollen

and sore

and cut

even till today.

Oh, added bonus?

I got excluded RIGHT after she did that.

Fair?

nope.

Friday we played three games.

We lost the first two.

Then we won the last one!(yaaay)

You have to understand though...

it isn't often that our girls team loses.

We were all way upset and shocked.

There was tons of crying.

So the way this tournament worked was

we play a bunch of games,

then we get put into the winners or losers bracket.

Then the elimination round starts. 

Our last game Friday was the start of our elimination round.

So we were freaking PUMPED to win.

Then we played Saturday

against

CANYON VIEW.

They are basically our equals.

I love them...

but I hate them...

:(

We LOST.

If we had won,

then we would have gone on to play for

1st place.

Instead we went to play against

Delta (not hard at all)

for 3rd.

We

won.

:D

But OMG!

Before our game,

there was the Tooele vs Brighton game.

 

We are warming up for our game,

and we see this girl

getting dragged

by her team

to the wall

and pulled out.

She looked like she was having some sort of attack.

 

Turns out a Brighton girl put her in a

choke hold,

and she had started to pass out.

 

The lifeguards had to help her with her breathing

and her coach was yelling across the pool at the girl who did it.

I hope that girl got kicked out for brutality.

Some things are not cool.

 

Anyways

I love polo even with it's dangers.

Like I got hit in the face

a total of... (let me count)

5 or 6 times.

It hurt like heck.

and there were two attempted drownings of me.

I showed those girls what's up.

>:P

I'm exhausted from the tournament though.

There is only so much sprinting and violence

I can stand before I need a break.

Meaning...

I can't lift my arms or move my legs without intense pain.

 Yay.

 

I am gonna go take some medicine.
